Cody retains, Belair & Cargill recapture tag titles, Terror Twins defeat Liv & Dom, Punk took revenge, Gunther retains & much more!!!

The inaugural WWE Bash in Berlin PLE is officially over and it is one of the must see Premium Live Events in recent times. WWE has showcased some of the interesting matches on the show with three major titles defened on the line. Get to know what happened at the Bash in Berlin PLE, as we came out with the complete summary, results, highlights and winners list for the show.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match- Cody Rhodes (C) vs Kevin Owens

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens have a friendly handshake to begin the match. Both played the counter games with Owens taking advantage by taking out Cody with the shoulder tackles. Cody tried for a Cody cutter, but Owens escapes. Cody locks KO’s hand for a submission hold, but he reached to the rope.

Cody stomped Owens’ leg and he counter-choped Cody. The champ delivered a drop kick and locked Kevin with a figure four leg lock. Owens reaches the rope to break the hold. Owens sent Cody to the apron and pushed him to fhe barricade. KO delivered a frog splash from the apron. Back in the ring, Owens stomps on Cody’s hand and mid section. Owens delivered a Russian Leg Sweep and goes for the bearhug.

Cody box Owens ears and both clashed in the middle with a double clothesline. Cody delivered a Hook slam and delivered the disaster kick. Cody reached the springboard again, but Owens delivered a suplex and with the super kick. Cody connects a Cody Cutter from the middle rope, only for a nearfall.

Both exchange strikes in the middle of the ring and Owens slammed Cody hitting the back of the neck to the knee. Owens went for the top rope and Cody joins him, trying to stop. However, Owens delivered a rolling senton from the top rope for a nearfall. Owens counters the Cody Cutter for a stunner, and Cody counters stunner to deliver a Cross Rhodes for a nearfall.

Cody takes Owens to the ropes, but Owens delivered a brainbuster from the middle rope for a nearfall. Both exchange strikes and headbutta and they fire up things with the super kicks. Cody climbs the top rope for a Cody Cutter, but his knee gave up. Owens mocked of attacking his knee, but he hesitates. Owens chases Cody outside the ring asking about his knee, but Cody says he is okay and strikes Owens.

KO kicks his leg and looks for a powerbomb to the apron, but Owens hesitates to deliver that. Inside the ring, Cody rolls, but Owens delivered a stunner for a nearfall. Owens lifts Cody only to receive a couple of Cross Rhodes. Owens cohntered the third to deliver a stunner for a nearfall. Owens delivered a Swanton from the top rope, but Cody has his knees up. Cody delivered a Cross Rhodes and pinned Owens to win the match and retain the title.

After the match, Cody tries to lift Kevin Owens, but Owens stands all by himself. With little hesitation Owens hugged Cody and lift Cody’s hands.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn tried to play the double game, but Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair took Isla Dawn out. Belair and Fyre start the match and delivered a vertical paused suplex. Belair punches Fyre on the face, Dawn distracts and they toom Belair out with the distraction game. Cargill tried to attack them, but Fyre took Cargill to the barricade. The champs dominate Belair taking her to their corner and perform double team moves.

Fyre and Dawn slow things down with the back to back tag in and locking Belair in their corner. Dawn hammers Belair and delivered a double knees to tag Fyre in. Belair carries Fyre and tried to tag Cargill, but Fyre and Dawn pulled her ponytail and dragged her to their corner. Belair tried to tag Cargill, but Fyre kicked Cargill out and delivered a Tornado DDT to avoid Cargill getting tagged.

Dawn is seny to the turnbuckle and Fyre is sent out. Belair back drops Dawn and tagged Cargill in. Cargull is fired up and she takes down both her opponent single handedly with a big boot and throwdown.

Cargill slams Dawn and gies for a nearfall. Fyre blind tags herself in and Belair tags in on the other corner. The champs delivered a double team move on Belair, but Cargill breaks the fall. Fyre tried to take both of them down, but Cargill and Belair slammed her. Dawn tags in and she tried to take Belair down. However both the champs collide when Cargill escaped her partner from their finisher. Belair and Cargill delivered their finisher and pinned Dawn to recapture the title.

Strap Match- CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre attacked CM Punk before he enters the ring. Drew takes Punk to the announcement table and they drag to the ring. Drew pulls the strap from the referee and smashes him with the strap on the back.

The match officially begin when both tied the strap on their wrist. Drew chops Punk and sideslammed him. Punk sneaked out and Drew pulls the rope to hit Punk’s mid section on the apron. Drew dragged Punk in and whipped the strap on his back.

Drew touched the first turnbuckle and gets the GTS from Punk. Punk beats Drew with the strap and delivered a neck breaker. Punk tries to take the weapon underneath the ring, but Drew attacked Punk from the back and took him to the top of the announcement table looking for a Future shock DDT. Punk took him down and smashed with the strap on the back.

Punk gets the table out, but Drew whipped him with the strap and puts the table in. Drew takes the chair and hit Punk’s mid section. Punk tried to fight back, but Drew poked his eye and took Punk into the ring. Punk is bleeding on the face and Drew touchers him over and over.

Drew hinges the chair between the ropes, but Punk delivered a knee to the face and a bulldog to send him out. Punk pulled Drew to the ring post and sets the table ringside. Drew gets into the ring and delivered a Claymore to Punk in the middle of the ring. Drew touches 1, 2 and 3rd. Before getting near to the third, Punk sneaked out and pulled Drew’s head to the hinged steel chair.

Punk touches three turnbuckles, but Drew stopped him with the headbutt. Drew threw Punk trough the table to break it. Drew carried Punk on his shoulder to touch the turnbuckles and Punk touches it on his back. Both are just a turnbuckle touch away from win, but both exchange strikes to nullify the count.

Drew tries for a Claymore, but Punk counters with a kick. Punk locks Drew with the sharpshooter and Drew taps, but submission is not how one win a strap match. Drew is faded out and Punk touches 1 and 2, but Drew pulled him and delivered a neckbreaker.

Drew pulls out the bracelet and delivers a Claymore to touch the turnbuckle. Drew touches 1, 2, 3, but Punk pulled him and delivered a GTS to stop him. Punk delivered the second GTS and touches the first two. Punk delivered another GTS to touch 3 and is just finger tip away fron the win. But Punk lifts Drew up to deliver another GTS and gets his bracelet and touches the fourth turnbuckle to win the match.

Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio kicks-off the match. Dom tries to escape and delivered a cheap shot. However Priest with a big boot took control. Dom tries to fight back, but Priest delivered a back elbow and a big boot. Dom tags Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley becomes the legal woman without tag. Rhea drop kicked Liv and delivered a vertical suplex to Liv.

Dom checks on Liv and Dom tags in. Priest tosses Dom into the ring ans sent out with a clothesline. Priest sends Dom face first to the apron. Priest tries to enter the ring, but Liv pulls his leg and the distraction made Dom push Priest outside and to the steel steps. Dom delivered a springboard senton and Liv delivered a cheap shot. Dom delivered a Tornado DDT and Liv delivers yet another cheap shot.

Dom locks Priest’s neck and mocks Eddie Guerrero. Priest took him down with the Falcon Arrow and tags Rhea. She got fired up and took Liv in control with a basement drop kick and a knee to the jaw. Dom tries to distract and asks her to hug him. Not Ripley took Liv with the back elbow and clothesline Dom and locks his head. Rhea tries for a Riptide on Dom, but Liv saved him. Liv delivered an innovative slam on Ripley and Rhea delivered a overhead kick.

Priest and Dom became the legal men and Priest toom Dom with a big clothesline, but Liv breaks the fall. The Terror Twins delivered a Razer Edge to Liv and Dom. Priest looks for a South of Heavens Chokeslam, but JD McDonagh and Carlito distracts them. The referee got distracted and Balor attacked him with a slingshot. Dom delivered a 619 for a nearfall.

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan got tagged in and Priest took everyone outside the ring. Balor is taken to the top of the announcement table. Dom stop him with the suicide dive, and Priest. Inside the ring, Rhea delivered a Riptide on Liv to win the match by pinfall.

World Heavyweight Championship Match- Gunther (C) vs Randy Orton

Both lock their hands and Randy Orton takes Gunther to the turnbuckle. Gunther went for a side headlock takedown and Orton does the same. Both lock their hands again and Gunther is in control locking Orton’s head. Both brawl and the WWE Universe go for a Mexican Wave. Both exchange strikes, but a chop took Orton out of the ring. The champ follows him to lock his neck around the ring post. Orton breaks the lock and pushed Gunther to the steel steps.

Orton targets Gunther’s right hand and send him to the steel steps again. Orton back dropped Gunther over the announcement table thrice. Orton backdropped Gunther again and takes him to the ring. Gunther can’t able to deliver a powerful chop due to bad arm. Orton escapes Gunther’s sleeperhold and stomps the right hand over and over.

The Ring General chops in the left hand, but Orton took him down and stomped on the bad arm again. Orton locks his hands for a submission, but he breaks out. Orton threw The World champion over the head to the mat. Gunther delivers three clothesline, but none is powerful. Orton counters the fourth and delivered a clothesline of his own. Orton powerslammed The Ring General.

The Ring General went for the top rope, and Orton stops him delivering a vertical suplex. Both are on their feet, Gunther chops and Orton chops back. Both exchange series of chops. Gunther kicks Orton, but Orton pokes his eyes. Orton uses the momentum to deliver the elevated DDT. Orton measured for the RKO, but Gunther countered with a German Suplex. Ring General delivered a drop kick and a splash from the top rope for a nearfall.

Gunther looks for a powerbomb, but the arm gave out. The champ takes Orton down with the clothesline. Gunther looks for a powerbomb, but not able to pull it off. Orton delivered an RKO and was just inches away from the win, but The Ring General kicked out.

Orton rolls out to clear the German Announcement Table. Orton drags Steel Stair near the table. Orton back dropped Gunther on the steps outsidw the ring. Orton sets the stairs, breaks the count and goes outside the ring and smashed The Austrian’s face on the steel steps. Orton delivered a back drop on Gunther to break the German announcement table and gestures his iconic pose.

Orton drags Gunther to the ring and measures for a RKO. The Ring General escapes and he locks Orton with the sleeper hold. Orton tries to break the hold and gets out, but Gunther chops Orton’s back neck and locks for the sleeper again.

Orton slams Gunther, but the champion locks the sleeper hold again in the mat, not allowing Orton to move. The Viper got faded out and the referee stops the match. Gunther retains the World Heavyweight Championship by submission. After the match, Gunther shakes hands with Orton and the Bash in Berlin comes to an end.

Bash in Berlin Results

  • Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
  • Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill defeated Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
  • CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre by touching all the four turnbuckles and got his bracelet back.
  • The Terror Twins (Damian Priest vs Rhea Ripley) defeated Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan of The Judgment Day by pinfall.
  • Gunther defeated Randy Orton by submission to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
