In Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, What Exactly Happens in the Story?

Ginger’s happy ending is nearly complete when Molly hatches; everyone is content after Ginger’s escape from Tweedy’s farm. But Molly outgrows the island swiftly and runs to the mainland. Just as a word of a new lethal threat plotting the extinction of all hens on the continent becomes available.

Dr. Fry intends to make chicken nuggets from all of the hens in his laboratory. Ginger and her crew decide to abandon their freedom, travel to the mainland, break into Dr. Fry’s impregnable lab, and save all the hens when Molly is captured and her death is imminent.

What Are the Reasons Behind the Replacement of Certain Cast Members?

According to Julia Sawalha’s announcement in July 2020, she will not be returning to the part of Ginger since the studio chose a younger actress in her place.

Though they never gave her the opportunity to conduct a voice test for the part, producers informed Julia’s agency that the choice to replace her was made because her voice now sounds “too elderly.” People were outraged by the producers’ decision to put Julia in a younger role.

Despite the lack of an explanation, considering Mel Gibson’s storied past, it’s easy to see why the filmmakers would choose a different actor to play Rocky. Another mystery is why Timothy Spall and Phil Daniels, who formerly portrayed Nick and Fetcher, have been replaced.

David Bradley, best known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Harry Potter, has replaced Benjamin Whitrow as the voice of Fowler, who died in September 2017.
