EastEnders confirms unexpected tragedy as wedding ends in tears in 69 pictures

EastEnders delivers the high drama next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, with Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) big day destined to end in tears.

The couple, who arrived in the Square together last year, are all set to tie the knot but, armed with doubts following her trip down memory lane, Elaine is concerned about George’s commitment to her.

Ahead of the ceremony, the bride-to-be heads over to see Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), asking her love rival to go through with the plan – a honeytrap to see if George can be swayed.

Cindy accepts and, as she and George reminisce about days gone by, she lunges in for a kiss.

As for whether George reciprocates or not, you’ll just have to wait and see but, wanting to reclaim her power, Cindy reveals all to George about Elaine’s honeytrap plot!

Reeling, George returns to the Vic, where he seeks answers from Elaine. Will Elaine be able to give him what he’s looking for? Or has the trust gone? What’s more, will the wedding go ahead?

Cindy, meanwhile, has bigger problems to deal with as Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) spots her with Junior (Micah Balfour) and, horrified, she follows him back to the Square, hoping to keep him quiet.

But things escalate quite dramatically in the scenes which follow, with serious consequences on the cards as Kojo is left fighting for his life.

Will Kojo be okay? Or will what is supposed to be the happiest day of George’s life end in tragedy?

Elsewhere on the Square, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is short with Peter Beale (Thomas Law) as her pain continues, with Penny (Kitty Castledine) intervening in an argument – and Lauren confides in her cousin about her pregnancy.

It’s going to be an eventful week!

EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday, November 26 and Thursday, November 29 at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
