Obi-Wan Show Release Date Revealed Check it Out

Published

on

Disney+ has confirmed that the Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series will debut in late May. The show stars Ewan McGregor, returning to the role of Kenobi and takes place ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Hayden Christensen returns to the role of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader in the series, which also stars Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

McGregor first portrayed Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel series, starting with Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, which saw the character as a Padawan to Liam Neeson’s Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn. He returned for the second chapter, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and then the final chapter, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The prequels tracked his relationship with Anakin Skywalker (Christensen) as he trained him to become a Jedi, but ultimately lost him to the dark side as he transformed into Darth Vader.

Disney+ has now confirmed that Obi-Wan Kenobi will debut on May 25, 2022 on the streaming platform, which is the perfect Star Wars connection, as it’s the exact date of the 45th anniversary of the first movie’s release. The mini-series will be comprised of six episodes in total. Obi-Wan Kenobi is being directed by Deborah Chow, who previously directed episodes of The Mandalorian. In addition to the date announcement, Disney+ also released a poster for Obi-Wan Kenobi, which is the first official look at McGregor’s return as the famed Jedi, who was last seen at the end of Revenge of the Sith dropping off Luke Skywalker to live with Owen and Beru Lars on Tattoine, where he is sworn to watch over the boy and protect him from harm. Check out the new poster below:

Kenobi was initially played by actor Alec Guiness in the original Star Wars trilogy, where he mentored a teenage Luke Skywalker, before being fatally struck down by Vader. He then became a Force Ghost that would continue to guide Luke throughout the trilogy. McGregor announced his return at D23 in 2019 for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which initially began pre-production back in January 2020, but script issues and Covid-19 forced everything to shut down. With the scripts reworked, the show eventually resumed production in April 2021.

Lost in Space Season 4 Release Date: Will Netflix Bring Lost in Space Back for Season 4?

Published

on

Lost in Space Season 4 Release Date: Lost In Space is a Netflix science fiction series set in the near future after a catastrophic event threatens human extinction. The plot revolves around the Robinsons, a family of space colonists whose spaceship deviates after being attacked by an extraterrestrial robot.

The Robinsons and other families crash land on a nearby habitable world, forcing them to start over on a new planet. This show was a reboot of the 1965 series of the same name, which was inspired by Johann David Wyss’ 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson.

Starting in 2018, the program had a good run and was renewed for a second season the following year. It was revived for a third season in 2020, which was also reported to be the final season. Is there any chance of another season of the show?

Lost in Space Season 4 Release Date

according to landscapeinsight  Netflix has not yet revealed what will happen to the television series “Lost in Space.” According to the chronology of the show’s last episodes, the release date for Lost in Space’s season 4 appears to be Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Lost in Space Season 4 Cast

The entire Robinson family, as well as Dr. Smith, the Robot, and Don West, all survived, so if Netflix called them up for another adventure, they could conceivably all return. The show’s casting was always strong, and some fantastic talent was added to the roster over the years. It’d be interesting to see who makes the cut if Lost in Space season 4 ever gets the green light from the streamer.

Here is the major cast that could return for Lost in Space season 4:

  • Molly Parker as Maureen Robinson
  • Tobey Stevens as John Robinson
  • Maxwell Jenkins as Will Robinson
  • Taylor Russell as Judy Robinson
  • Mina Sundwall as Penny Robinson
  • Ignacio Serricchio as Don West
  • Parker Posey as Dr. Smith
  • Brian Steele as The Robot

Lost in Space Season 4 Plot

After Lost in Space season 3, it’s difficult to say what might have happened to the Robinsons. Season 4 of Lost in Space has no official plot, but it’s easy to envision what might happen if there were more adventures in store.

The Robinson family was finally safe in Alpha Centauri at the end of the previous episode, and they were all living happily ever after. The Robots were liberated from their programming; some departed, while others remained, and Robot and Will headed out to explore the universe.

Given how things ended, the Robinsons’ options for what to do next are practically limitless. There are also other potential spinoffs, such as a Judy Robinson Alpha Centauri medical drama or Robot and Will adventures. Don West and Debbie in a sitcom would be fantastic.

There are presently no known plans or tactics in place to further the franchise, but thankfully for fans, three terrific seasons are available for a binge session that is unquestionably worthy.

Lost in Space Season 3 the Story

Although there are questions about how Robinson and his friends’ new lives will end in Lost in Space, all of the conflict hinted at in season one has been handled.

Dr. Smith, the main antagonist, is currently imprisoned after defeating the extraterrestrial robots. The showrunners accomplished this on purpose, and Estrin admitted that he believes the heroes are “worth taking a breath before the next operation.”

Although the possibility of a Lost in Space Season 4 is remote, the authors have left the outcome ambiguous. Robinson’s narrative may have ended on the screen, but what happens to them later in Alpha Centauri is now up to fan ideas, leaving a word that is both satisfactory and leaves a little to be desired.

Dr. Smith Lost in Space

Dr. Zoe Smith, played by none other than June Harris, is a former criminal and master manipulator who poses as a therapist. Smith took the identity of her younger sister in order to join the colonists, and when she was found, she stole the identity of a doctor again.

Dr.Smith’s Lost in Space lacks the information that the majority of the other characters possess. She is also incapable of piloting a starship, let alone dealing with the various challenges that they face. She is only excellent at one thing: manipulating others in order to utilize them to her advantage.

The game of manipulation, however, comes to an end when others realize she is not who she claims to be. This realization of others motivates “Dr. Smith” to commit additional criminal deeds in order to evade blame.

Penny Lost in Space

Penny, the middle child of the Robinson family, is regarded as the odd one out since her personality differs from that of the other colonists. Penny enjoys writing because she is more imaginative and inventive, and she prefers having fun to coping with the problems that her family faces.

Penny is highly snarky, but beneath her apathetic façade is a very warm and caring heart. Penny was played by actress Mina Sundwall in the Netflix adaption of the drama. However, in the 1965 version, Lacey Chabert played the role of Penny. Lacey Chabert Lost in Space was a well-known name at the time.

Will Netflix Bring Lost in Space Back for Season 4?

Netflix announced that the third season would be the final one. The showrunners did an excellent job of wrapping up the show and tying up many loose ends. Zack Estrin stated that he had always intended for the show to have only three seasons.

Estrin commented on Twitter, ” “We’ve always thought of The Robinsons’ plot as a trilogy from the beginning. An epic three-part family journey with a distinct beginning, middle, and finale.”

He went on to say that, before the third season is released, “It’s also worth emphasizing that, given what these people go through just to survive each episode, Will, Penny, Judy, Maureen, John, Don West, Dr. Smith… and The Robot need to recover their breath before their next assignment.

Debbie the Chicken, of course. So, as this chapter of Lost In Space comes to a close, I’m looking forward to continuing to explore new adventures with my Netflix friends, as well as all of the great possibilities that lay ahead.”

To put it simply, Lost In Space will not return for a third season. Fans of the show who want more may expect more from Estrin, who has inked a multi-year deal with Netflix to create new series. While it was difficult for viewers to say goodbye to the show, the cast is also sad to say goodbye.

Screenrant spoke with Mina Sundwall, who plays Penny Robinson “I’m experiencing a bittersweet sensation. And I believe that seeing it will be heartbreaking for fans of the show. It’s bitter because it’s over, but sweet because of how it ends. I was very pleased with it.

” She continued, “Penny’s story arc is fantastic, and I love where she finishes up. I can’t say much, but there are a lot of things I’ve wanted for her for a long time, and that her admirers have shown a desire for. I believe we will all be satisfied. It’ll be bittersweet, but I hope everyone is happy with the outcome.”
